HOW HAS THE CRISIS ERUPTED?

By meeting at regular intervals to clarify the particulars of the crisis and to decide what action its members should take.
WHAT FORMS OF ACTION?
Educational activity to alert other members of the local community to the dangers of the crisis.
Initiating positive local campaigns of reform.
Linking with other Crisis Committees to engage in wider reform moves.
Contingency planning of ways and means to deal with the probable breakdown of essential services.
Establishing cooperative links with organisations engaged with the various aspects of the crisis
HOW IS A CRISIS COMMITTEE FORMED?
Anyone anywhere can call together a group of local people of shared concerns. There is no national or other body, no formalities or registration. The CC is its own regulating body concerned with grass roots activity to promote human survival and well-being.
