The Rye Harbour Boat Owners Association was formed 40 years ago with the object of safe-guarding the interests of owners and skippers of small craft of all kinds based on or visiting the Port of Rye. We have 200 members covering a wide spectrum of harbour users including trawler skippers. Click on one of the subjects below for the rules of the association.

We are affiliated to the RYA and nominate one representative to the Statutory Rye Harbour Advisory Committee. We have no clubhouse, but social events are held in the Rye harbour Village Hall and thev Rye Community Centre on Conduit Hill.

The annual subscription is £8. We have our own web site www.rhboa.co.uk and publish a quarterly newsletters sent post-free to all member households.
