Committee

Rule 9

a) The Committee shall comprise the Officers, ex-officio, and not more than 10 members of he Association elected at an AGM. Committee members shall retire annually but may offer themselves for re-election.

Other Association members may be nominated to serve as Committee members provided such nominations comply with Rule 8(c) above. In the event of the number of candidates exceeding the number of vacancies to be filled, the election shall be by ballot.


b) Vacancies occurring as a result of resignation or a shortfall in numbers of formally elected committee members may be filled at any time by co-option by the Committee.
Association Management.


Rule 10

a) The Committee shall manage the affairs of the Association in accordance with these rules and shall apply the funds of the Association to the objects of the Association.

b) The quorum for Committee meetings shall be three Committee members.

c) The Committee shall make such bye-laws and regulations as necessary provided they do not conflict with these rules.

d) It shall be the responsibility of the Honorary Treasurer to keep a complete and accurate account of the Association's finances which shall run from 1st January to 31st December each year.
