
New Rules and Amendments
Rule 13a) The draft of any amendment or addition to these rules proposed by the Committee for adoption at a General Meeting shall be included in the notice to members in accordance with Rule 12.
A member or members wishing to put forward any amendment or addition to the rules shall ensure that full details are given in writing to the Honorary Secretary:
(i) at least 21 days before for consideration at the next following Annual General Meeting;
(ii) at least 4 weeks before any Special General Meeting convened under Rule 12 (b) for the purpose.
b) Proposals for amendments or additions to these rules and any amendments to such proposals put from the floor shall be put to a vote of the meeting and shall be deemed to be carried if a majority of two-thirds of the votes of members present and voting are cast in favour of the proposal or amendment.
c) Amendments or additions to Rule 7a) on Subscriptions will not take effect until 1st January in the year following the Annual General Meeting or the Special General Meeting at which the amendments or additions are adopted.
Rule 14If upon winding up or dissolution of the Association there remains after settlement of its debts and liabilities any property or assets, these shall be distributed equally amongst those members whose subscriptions have been paid in full up to the date of the winding up or dissolution.
Any dispute shall be referred to the Committee and its decision shall be final.
